Mike Wagner is Assistant Professor and Director of the Master of Arts in Human Resources program at the University of Cincinnati. At UC, Mike teaches courses in Leadership, Business Professionalism, Business Ethics and Compensation. He received his PhD in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University in New York City, where his focus was on pay-for-performance and organizational change. Before UC, Mike was vice president of compensation and risk management at Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, as well as compensation manager at American Express in New York City. Mike was also director of HR Measurement and Research at AXA Insurance and was a human capital consultant at Mercer Human Capital Consulting. Mike currently does consult projects in HR strategy, compensation, and employee engagement. Mike is a faculty member for WorldatWork.
