Membership

One of the greatest challenges for compensation professionals today is staying current with the changes in our field. Whether it's learning about the newest design in variable compensation plans, understanding changes in the regulatory environment, or dealing with a turbulent economy, it's critical to stay up to date and ahead of the curve.

The Columbus Compensation Association (CCA) is a great source of information and professional development in Central Ohio.  CCA strives to not be the best chapter of the WorldatWork family, but also a proactive, caring and responsible non-profit organization that is focused on its members and the community at large.  Below are some of the many personal enrichment opportunities that your membership gives you access to.

Membership Enrichment Opportunities:
  • Member meetings that focus on building professional knowledge & skills, and insights into the Compensation and HR world: Great, engaging speakers on key topics, complimentary delicious food and refreshments, and door prizes!
  • Networking oppportunities with our rich member network of professionals with varying experiences and perspectives

  • Complimentary happy hours throughout the year

  • Get more involved by joining a committee that focuses on your passion

  • Regular philanthropic and volunteering opportunities

  • SHRM and WorldatWork continuing education credits (CPE’s)

  • Several local discounted WorldatWork Courses held each year sponsored by the CCA

  • Well-organized and informative website

  • Access to exclusive "Members Only" content on our website: Access to previous program presentations and newsletters and membership directory with direct contact information

  • Complimentary job postings on the CCA website

  • Opinion surveys available after every meeting, and a comprehensive biennial membership feedback survey

But don't take our word for it. . . hear what some members have to say about the value of their CCA Membership:

"For me, CCA is many things. Tangibly, there are discounts on CCA classes and access to premium content, but the CCA is more than that. It is a chance to talk with professionals about their pay practices. It is an opportunity to hear from experts about relevant topics that impact myself and those I advise. It is the intangibles that provide me the greatest value."

    --Jordan McCleery, Momentive

"CCA provides superlative benefits relative to its nominal cost. Especially valuable are the local networking, opportunities to actively participate on board or committees, and programming focused on professional trends."

    --Lisa Turner, Wendy's
