Under general direction, the Compensation Analyst assists in the development, evaluation, documentation, and implementation of job architecture, pay range structures and compensation programs.
Specific additional responsibilities include consulting on organizational structures/restructures; classifying & determining pay grade levels based on market &/or internal equity; identifying & participating in salary surveys; analyzing market data to determine external competitiveness of pay ranges and pay practices. Performs modeling to determine impact and cost analysis for recommended changes and ensures proper approval processes are followed. Also assists in maintaining performance management systems, insuring operation within organizational merit budgets. Consults with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners on pay rates that fall outside of their guidelines; and serves as a resource to HR Shared Services team. Is considered a technical expert in Compensation principles and solutions. May assist in training others, including new members of the Compensation team.
Conducts, documents, and make recommendation on job evaluations
Analyzes market data using web-based software to determine external competitiveness
Work with Talent Acquisition and HR Consultants/Business partners on pay equity for new hires, internal transfers and reviews individual or group pay equity and make appropriate recommendations to correct problems where they may exist.
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 4 years of Compensation experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with strong Excel proficiency required.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and verbal/written communication skills.
Desired Education/Experience
CCP certification

Target Hiring Range: $73,100 - $97,500
