Human Resources is responsible for establishing HR-related policies and controls, partnering with clients to provide solutions, executing HR operations, providing and interpreting HR-related reports, and supporting strategic decisions.

Compensation is responsible for identifying, designing, and recommending market competitive compensation programs that attract and retain employees, drive performance and organizational results, and provide rewards and recognition for individuals and teams. Partners with technology and process design resources to deliver compensation solutions into the organization including the base pay program, annual salary planning, and incentives. Provides strategic consultation to HR Business Partners on compensation matters. Consults with legal resources to provide guidance to HR and the organization on compensation related compliance issues. Partners with finance resources to budget and accrue for compensation related programs.
 

The Compensation Analyst 1 will provide compensation operational support to customers with Compensation business process transactions through workflow/approvals, triage and resolve system issues, prepare data for salary surveys and complete data audits; complete level one triage of Service-Now tickets and support resolution. Escalate issues, when appropriate. Understand compensation policy, regulations and laws in order to provide guidance to customers; Identify and recommend changes to business processes, communications, training, job aids or other materials that will improve the customer experience; Build partnerships throughout the university by providing internal consulting with HR partners, managers and other customers; Support the delivery of compensation solutions into the organization such as base pay program, annual salary planning, and incentives; Run basic compensation audit reports and work with HR partners to make corrections; May support Compensation consultants with job evaluations or other related reviews. Participate in special projects. 

Target Hiring Range: $22.16 - $29.57
