    Presentation Overview: 

    This session will review the external factors driving greater focus on pay equity in the workplace, including the ever evolving state and federal regulations, and the impact of shareholder proxy proposals.  It will also address how employers are tackling this challenge and the methods and tools available to assess the pay equity situation, to identify corrective measures to close pay gaps, to model the cost of different corrective actions, and to establish a sustainable process to manage pay equity over time.

    Dan Lezotte, Ph.D and Principal, Mercer

    Dan has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of Talent Management and Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology, having held positions in consulting, industry, and academia.  As a principal in Mercer’s Workforce Strategy & Analytics practice, he leads strategy and analytics projects related to selection (assessments), pay equity analysis, diversity measurement, strategic workforce planning, and business impact modeling of HR practices. Dan’s consulting engagements have cut across multiple industries including healthcare, higher education, pharmaceuticals, finance, retail, technology, manufacturing, utilities and government agencies.

    Dan received his doctorate in I-O psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he previously held a faculty position and now sits on the Board of Overseers for the College of Human Sciences.
